Tutus and Sparkly Shoes

Very excited to see our Tutus and Sparkly Shoes party featured in the current issue of Sweet Magazine (issue 5).
Tutus, sparkly shoes, ruffles and tulle, this is girly prettiness at every turn! Little bday girl Mikayla loves Ballerina’s, so we created the theme Tutus and Sparkly shoes with glittery splashes throughout to keep our little one year old guests happy. Despite the torrential rain and a last minute venue change, it was a divine day.
To kick start the cuteness, each party guest received a stunning Little Chiyo Tutu and matching Pom Pom Princess wand on arrival as well as a handmade Little Miss Charlie’s party hat. Giant pink balloons from The Party Parlour had soft tulle tied to them (which also double as a weight) at the entry with a custom giant M made out of cardboard and pink tissue paper thanks to the lovely Kate from Sweet and Styled.
The delightful pastel ballerina shop backdrop was the centre stage to the dessert table, with tutus and sparkly shoes shimmering in the windows and beautiful blooms by Urban Flower as accents. Pretty & Print created the gorgeous printable designs, using soft mint, pink, purple and lemon as the key colour palette. We carried this though to all the decadent desserts including the magnificent tutu inspired ruffle cake by Blissfully Sweet which was topped with edible sparkly shoes. Other decadent sweets included cake pops and cupcakes with tutu skirts, tutu cookies, macarons, panacotta cups, pearl pink peanut butter balls, meringues and a selection of yummy candy. The desserts sat perfectly on the charming play tent by Little Kite, designed to work like a tablecloth to cover your tabletop with a fun door which the kids loved to climb through!
The kids and adults table had adorable clear ghost chairs from Mini Party People fitted with custom tutus. The centre of the table popped with sparkly baby shoes in tea cups under glass cloches surrounded by fresh flowers. Little details are so important!
The kids and adults alike enjoyed playing in the Tiny Tots Toy Hire activity gym and slides, perfect for entertaining babies and toddlers indoors and out.
